“But when it comes down to it, she will do anything, there is no boundary between her, and her mum knows that.
“Her mum knows that Dotty is weak when it comes to her, and she really exploits that, so I think you really see a vulnerable side of Dotty when it comes to what her mum asks her to do,” she explained.
“Deep down [Dotty] isn’t that naïve, and she’s been through it before where her mum’s got clean and then got back on the drugs.
“She knows that this might be something that they will be facing for the rest of their lives, but she still clings onto that little hope that this might be the time that everything’s different.”
