EastEnders viewers ‘work out’ Christmas killer as they spot ‘hidden 7th’ clue

In February this year, BBC fans were treated to a special flash-forward episode of EastEnders which skipped ahead to Christmas this year.

During the episode, it was revealed one Walford resident would come to a gruesome end as Sharon Watts (played by Letitia Dean) was knelt down beside a dead body on the floor.

Wearing a wedding dress in the Queen Vic, viewers also saw a stunned Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth,) Suki Kaur Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) with many of the ladies having injuries.

The identity of the victim is not yet known, although it’s been confirmed to be a male character, with some believing it could be either Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) or Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry).

However, the question of who the killer is still remains with many speculating which of the six women in the scene it could be and why.

Although after recent scenes, EastEnders fans believe the murderer is another person Albert Square altogether who wasn’t shown in the fast-forward episode.

During the King’s Coronation celebrations at the Vic, people realised Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) went missing and was found paying a visit to Suki.

In a bid to try and protect her son Keanu (Danny Walters), Karen pleaded mother-to-mother to try and get Nish and Ravi to leave him alone.

It comes after Ravi believes Keanu snitched on his criminal activity to the police resulting in him getting attacked and being left for dead.

Believing Ravi was behind the attack, Sharon reported him to the police, leaving Keanu horrified that his family would hold a vendetta against him.

After seeing Karen step in to try and help Keanu, viewers think her need to protect him could result in murder.

Taking to Twitter Brentmatthews said: “#Eastenders I think there will be a secret 7th on Christmas Day, I thought it could have been Eve or Shirley but now I’m starting to think it could be Karen. When Sharon looks up & says his dead she’s looking at Karen. At the moment I’m thinking Karen hits Nish & kills him.”

RyanTheSoapking added: “Suki and Karen need to team up to take down Nish. Karen has been abused herself and knows that Chantelle was also abused. Suki is between a rock and hard place at the moment with Nish and needs people on her side to bring him down including Eve Karen Stacey etc. #EastEnders”

Speaking about the rumours Ravi could be the victim on Christmas Day, actor Aaron Thiara teased he’s got more enemies on the way.

He said: “From what comes up and what’s been done, he has a lot of enemies and there are a lot more enemies to come.

“There’s a whole heap of high drama that’s yet to happen. All of us at EastEnders, we’re kind of going block to block at the moment.

“You get a new block of episodes every 10 days, every two weeks so you’re just opening them and flicking through going, ‘Ok where am I, what’s this going to lead to?’

“It’s beautifully done because essentially we’re all playing Cluedo, us included. It’s great, it’s a lot of fun and I’m having a great time.”

EastEnders continues Mondays- Thursdays on BBC One from 7:30pm
