EasyJet is sending more planes to Lapland this Christmas, so holiday makers can have a snowy seasonal break, they could even catch an extra plane to a hot country

Lapland holidays are back on the cards – and thanks to easyJet you don’t need to break the bank if you want to visit Santa Claus!
The budget airline has revealed it’s operating more flights to Finnish Lapland in time for Christmas, with a quarter of a million extra seats is now on sale this winter.
Return fares start from £76.98 per person from London Gatwick to Kittila, with the new services due to take off from December 3.
Kittila is just a stone’s throw away from Lapland where you can explore Santa’s village, enjoy magical experiences from reindeer sledding to Northern Lights safaris, not to mention there’s extra magic for little ones as you can meet Santa’s elves and Father Christmas himself.
Ali Gayward is the UK Country Manager, for EasyJet. He said: “We know our customers can’t wait to make up for lost Christmas celebrations, or escape to the sun this winter so we are delighted to be able to add a new route to the home of Father Christmas as well as more seats to serve the demand we’re seeing for both beach and city travel this winter and providing even more choice to get away.
“And with our unrivalled customer service and great value fares, we know these will prove popular for our customers across the UK.”

The airline has also put an extra 245,000 seats on sale to destinations such as winter sun favourites across the Canaries, Alicante and Menorca, with a number of UK airports on offer including London Gatwick, Luton, Glasgow and Manchester in the UK.
More planes flying to winter sun, city break and ski destinations for this winter including the Christmas period and February Half Term provide customers with even more choice, which is great for the jet setters among us.
So, whether you’d like to be surrounded by snow on Christmas day or bask in the heat of a foreign sun this winter, you could find an EasyJet plane to suit you.
