The city recently won accolades at the World Travel Awards in Oman as the best city destination of 2022.

For those looking for a bargain, easyJet will also open up its autumn 2023 schedule tomorrow.

This means thousands of seats on flights taking off between October 1, and November 30, 2023, will be available to snap up earlier at lower cost fares.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK country manager, said: “I am delighted to be announcing new routes from both Edinburgh and Glasgow today, providing our Scottish customers with more direct links to more of Europe’s most popular city and beach destinations next summer.

“And with flights for autumn 2023 on sale tomorrow, customers can also book early for next autumn and snap up the best fares across our network to find a great-value getaway or October half-term holiday.”

We told how easyJet Holidays has launched another 28-day winter break after their first one sold out in just hours.

The previous deal was offered as an ‘Escape the UK’ holiday which was cheaper than the average UK household’s monthly winter energy bills.

Staying at the 5* Stella Gardens Resort in Egypt, the deal included return flights, 28 nights as well as all food, drink, WiFi and spa access.

However, it was so popular that it has already sold out.

Thankfully, easyJet Holidays has a few other deals to offer instead.

If you want a very cheap holiday to Turkey for an entire month, you can spend 28 nights at the 3* Sun City Apartments in Antalya.

While this one is self-catering, it includes flights, 23kg of luggage and airport transfers for just £345pp – working out to just £12pp a night.

The deal is based on flights from London Luton on January 7, 2023.

But if you want an all-inclusive month away, then there is also a 28-night day to Tunisia.

Staying at the Medina Belisaire and Thalassoin, the all-inclusive breaks also includes luggage, transfers and flights for just £729pp (or £26pp a night).
