Ebanie Bridges and Conor McGregor were all smiles as they attended the Katie Taylor vs Chantelle Cameron fight on Saturday night.
McGregor was there to cheer on Taylor, with the pair both being from Ireland, while Bridges turned up to support her fellow women in a huge fight for the sport.
At one point, McGregor and Bridges met up for a photo, as the IBF bantamweight world champion posted the pair on Twitter alongside the caption: “Ringside with the one and only @TheNotoriousMMA.”
McGregor would not have been smiling for long, however, as he went on to witness Taylor suffer her first career defeat.
It was a terrific fight, but aside from the occasional flash of her dazzling hand speed, Taylor struggled to gain a foothold in the fight.
Whereas, Cameron applied relentless pressure throughout, stalking Taylor around the ring and landing the more eye catching shots throughout.

As it went to the judges scorecards, it was announced that Cameron had won by majority decision to retain her undisputed super lightweight world titles.
And it seems we may see the fight again, as after the bout, Taylor’s promoter Eddie Hearn revealed there is a rematch clause.
“There is of course a rematch clause and we will be doing this fight again in Dublin, Ireland,” Hearn said.
Meanwhile, Taylor herself added: “Congratulations to Chantelle on a fantastic performance and thank you so much for this opportunity. I’m looking forward to the rematch.”
