The Space X and Telsa founder has been making worldwide headlines following his acquisition of the popular microblogging app Twitter.

Musk reportedly had a tough time while in high school. He was born and raised in Pretoria and matriculated at Pretoria Boys High School in Hatfield, reports My Broadband.

Not too long ago, reports of Musk being bullied made headlines. The incident reportedly occurred at Bryanston High School in Johannesburg.

Following the incident, Musk was moved to Pretoria Boys High. He was in Grade 10 at the time.

What are Bryanston High’s fees?

For the 2023 academic year, the Bryanston High School fee for a Grade 8 learner is R50 500. For learners in Grades 9 to 12, the fees are R48 500.

The school offers payment plan options for parents or guardians to ensure they are able to complete payments before the end of the school year.

What are Pretoria Boys High’s fees?

Pretoria Boys High has the option for boarding at the facility and different grades have different fees per annum.

Form I & II school fees

Students in forms I & II have a fee of R63 800 per annum.

The combined school and boarding fees for these grades are R139 000 per annum.

Form III & IV school fees

Students in forms III & IV have a fee of R61 150 per annum.

The combined school and boarding fees for these grades are R137 250 per annum.

Form V school fees

Students in form V have a fee of R62 250 per annum. This includes a R1 100 book deposit.

The combined school and boarding fees for this grade are R138 350 per annum.
