Jude Taylor and Sam Zonoozi’s London-based imprint, PICANTE, has entered the knitwear game just in time for the cold winter months.
Known for its irreverent capsules, PICANTE has continued to keep itself firmly on the streetwear pulse over the last few months, having recently released a tasty collaboration with Persian restaurant Berenjack, as well as a selection of playful tongue-in-cheek hoodies inspired by classic ‘90s TV, mechanics, and life around the city of London.
Served in the brand’s classic vibrant blue colourway—as well as additional cream and monochrome iterations—each Forge knit is crafted with a loose-bottom hem, which allows the garment to be either draped or layered, and is rounded out by a loop-stitched PICANTE motif on the rear.
Taking to Instagram, the brand explained that it “wanted a product that was a lot more resilient and could easily be washed and cared for,” when it comes to shrinkage, adding that “the P graphic is a super soft boucle wool which adds some great texture.”
