Emily Ratajkowski has commented on her public kiss with Harry Styles earlier this year. In a cover interview for the May 2023 issue of Vogue Spain, the 31-year-old model, podcaster and author spoke candidly about her feelings following the surfacing of a viral video, which displayed her kissing the As It Was singer-songwriter in Tokyo, Japan in late March.
“It’s very bizarre to have certain experiences and then have the whole world know about them and comment on them,” she told the publication – having travelled to the town of Chinchón in Madrid for the cover shoot. “I’m just a person who’s gone from a three-year relationship to a four-year relationship, so this is the first time in a long time that I’ve been in a dating stage.”
Ratajkowski is referring to her four-year-long marriage to actor Sebastian Bear-McClard, the father of her son Sylvester Apollo Bear, and before that her three-year-long relationship with music producer Jeff Magid. She has since been romantically-linked to Pete Davidson, Brad Pitt, comedian Eric André and, most recently, Harry Styles.

She continued, “The interest there is in that particular area is very strange. Not that I’m surprised, but it’s a tiny slice of my life. Most of my life is focused on my son and my work. But I guess these issues don’t inspire the same flashy headlines”, adding that she was “starting to worry” about the effect this attention might have on her son, as he grows up around the paparazzi.
She also commented on actor/director Olivia Wilde – who dated Harry Styles for two years before the couple split in November 2022. “I feel bad for Olivia, because she has had to suffer this situation on several occasions,” she told the publication.
While at time of writing it is unclear whether the pair are still dating, fans suspect Ratajkowski made a reference to the pair’s dating during an interview on the Going Mental with Eileen Kelly podcast at the start of March. “I just started dating someone that I think I like, so that is different. I was like, ‘He’s kind of great’,” Ratajowski told host Eileen Kelly. Watch this space.
