More congratulations are in order for Detroit’s Eminem.
It’s not just the recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that warrant a word or note of congratulations to the 50-year-old rap superstar.
This week, his daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, announced her apparent engagement to be married on her Instagram account, @hailiejade, showing pictures with her partner bended on knee.
“Casual weekend recap,” she posted with the three pictures, including them opening a bottle of champagne. The posts received nearly 400,000 likes and 8,000 comments, mostly of congratulations.
People magazine reports her fiancé is Evan McClintock, and they have dated since 2016. They both attended Michigan State University and he graduated with a degree in economics.
This was a rare glimpse into her personal life as she has been pretty private about this relationship, though she is described as a social media influencer besides her job as a podcaster. Her Instagram account has about three million followers, a significant following, though her father has 38 million.
Nearly a decade ago, she was celebrated as the homecoming queen at Chippewa Valley High School. She was raised in Clinton Township.
