If you were on Twitter this week, you might have noticed when The Game and Eminem were trending.
That’s because of The Game’s song “The Black Slim Shady” from his new album Drillmatic, which came out on Friday.
Riffing off of Em’s song “The Real Slim Shady,” it’s a full-on diss record toward the Detroit native, featuring barbs on everything from Eminem’s daughter Hailie to his talent as a rapper. The song lasts for a whopping 10 minutes and 26 seconds.
Well, it looks like Hailie has now responded to the track, using her purported Twitter account to defend her father.
“If you have to make a song 10mins long about someone you ‘dislike,’ it’s giving obsessed,” she reportedly wrote in a tweet.
“My dad is so legendary that people have to diss him in their songs just to attract audience because they know they would flunk without the attention,” Hailie continued.
She also posted this video lip-syncing to a soundbite of The Game’s rival 50 Cent talking about how he randomly finds himself in drama, seemingly in response to The Game bringing up her name on the track.
Em himself has yet to comment, but we’ll let you know if he does!
