Emmerdale betrayal as Bear Wolf makes a move on Mandy Dingle

Emmerdale fans have been wondering when Paddy Kirk (played by Dominic Brunt) and Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) might rekindle their romantic relationship.

Ever since Paddy and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) endured their messy split last year, it has seemed as though Mandy and Paddy could get back together.

The former couple have spent a lot of time together, with Mandy supporting Paddy through his heartbreak.

However, Mandy has also spent a lot of time with Paddy’s father, Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards).

In upcoming scenes on the ITV soap, Bear’s misinterpretations will lead to an awkward moment between the pair.

In scenes yet to air, Paddy prepares to leave for his fishing holiday and is amused to see Bear preening his beard.

He has no idea his dad is harbouring secret feelings for Mandy.

Later, Bear misreads a conversation with his son and thinks he’s been given the green light to make a move on Mandy.

At the salon, Bear has received his treatment and has a twinkle in his eye as he invites Mandy out for lunch.

At lunch, Mandy is stunned when a hopeful Bear moves in for a kiss.

With her emotions all over the place, she hurries away which leaves Bear reeling, embarrassed to have got things so wrong.

Mandy later opens up about her feelings for Paddy and she’s galvanised when Bear tells her not to leave things unsaid and to admit her feelings to the man himself.

Later, a nervous Mandy arrives at Tenant’s to admit her feelings to Paddy.

How will he react? It’s possible he’ll be delighted by the news initially.

However, before long Paddy’s shocked to learn that Bear kissed Mandy.

Could hopes of a reunion between the two be quashed by Bear’s mistake?

Fans might hope the two can find happiness with each other again, but Paddy might be fuming to learn about Bear.

Paddy has already been through a difficult time lately and has needed his loved ones around him.

Could this latest blow lead to further heartache and confusion for Paddy?
