Emmerdale exit for Zak Dingle as fans ‘work out’ worrying health diagnosis

Emmerdale resident Cain Dingle (played by Jeff Hordley) has come under suspicion from the police after his half-brother Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) was pushed from a woodland ridge.

Even his own sister Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) thinks the mechanic was capable of such a crime.

During Monday night’s ITV episode, Cain and his dad Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell) appeared to be keeping a secret from Chas.

And while the barmaid thinks Zak is covering for Cain, fans think the Dingle icon is hiding a much darker secret.

Zak began: “Well, if that copper wasn’t buying it, maybe you should tell the truth.”

“No one needs to know but us,” Cain replied as Chas walked in.

She fumed: “Nobody needs to know what? That he pushed Caleb off the ridge and now he’s round here hassling you for an alibi.

“Please don’t tell me that you have agreed to it already. You can’t get yourself involved with this, Zak.”

“Ignore her she has been on one all day,” Cain argued as Chas hit back: “For good reason. You should have seen how guilty he was at the hospital when the cops questioned him.”

Cain replied: “I risked a life sentence recently, do you think I’d want to go through that again?”

After they argued further, Chas asked Zak: “What did Cain just say to you and what aren’t you telling me?”

Fans took to Twitter in droves following the episode to share their concerns about Zak’s health.

Could the soap stalwart be making an exit from the soap very soon due to his declining health?

@niddon3 shared: “Zak’s ill and Cain was helping him 🙁 #emmerdale.” (sic)

@Pinkladyxxxxx asked: “Wonder what the secret is with Cain and Zac? I don’t think it was Cain, I am putting odds on Nicky.” (sic)

“Obviously Cain had taken Zak to the doctors/hospital,” @funkygibbons predicted.

While @tommufc9524 added: ” Zak really doesn’t look well #emmerdale.”
