Emmerdale fans spot Nicky and Caleb’s downfall in baby monitor clue

Last week, Emmerdale fans discovered Nicky Milligan (played by Lewis Cope) had been hiding a dark secret and his squeaky clean image was all a facade. However, villagers like Kim Tate (Claire King) and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) could soon expose the character following a careless mistake.

The soap newcomer is the secret son of Kim Tate’s business partner Caleb Milligan (Will Ash).

Caleb is the secret son of Frank Tate (Norman Bowler) – Kim’s ex-husband – and the pair are plotting to take her down, wanting Home Farm for themselves.

Nicky has been using Gabby, the mother of Kim’s grandson, and he recently proposed to her as part of his grand scheme.

While no one appears to know Caleb and Nicky’s link or true intentions, the latter may have slipped up in recent instalments of the Yorkshire-based soap.

He should try not to become too arrogant or it could destroy his chances of taking over Home Farm with Caleb.

Another scene left Gabby suspicious of Nicky’s behaviour while he was looking after her son.

He grabbed a book when Gabby entered the room and she noticed he’d already read that book to the toddler just hours earlier.

She called him out over it and Nicky came up with an excuse, but will Gabby start wondering if he is actually looking after her son properly?

Emmerdale viewers have been taking to Twitter with their theories about the dramatic storyline.

Paul said: “That could be the next stage of the plan. Why isn’t Nicky recording all the stuff from the baby monitor on his phone? Surely that makes sense as proof.”

Candy added: “That baby monitor is a big clue to what will happen, #emmerdale.”

Craig said: “Surely Kim would’ve heard him say shut up on the baby monitor? #Emmerdale.”
