Emmerdale fans have been suspicious of Caleb Milligan’s (played by William Ash) true intentions ever since he arrived in the village. Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) has been suspicious of his sibling while the rest of the Dingle clan opened the newcomer with open arms. Despite Cain’s change of heart in Thursday’s hour-long episode, ITV viewers believe the Dingle stalwart has every right to be wary of his brother.
Cain appeared to call a truce with Caleb when he thanked him for supporting Kyle Winchester’s (Huey Quinn) legal fight to get him out of prison.
The concerned father was originally imprisoned for the murder of Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) because he wanted to protect his son.
However, a guilty Kyle struggled with his conscious and turned himself into the police.
Ever since, Cain has been desperately trying to find a way to free his son.

Aldismaldi suggested: “Why do the credits only say ‘Nicky’ and no surname? Is he Caleb’s son (so a Dingle) and reconnaissance to get Home Farm? #emmerdale.”
“Soooo I think Caleb and Nicky are working for #JoeTate going after Cain and Kim. (fingers crossed it means Joe coming back!) #Emmerdale,” Coxyhockeychick remarked.
Sonderchord agreed: “My gut says Caleb and Nicky are working together #emmerdale.”
“Could Nanny Nicky be Caleb’s son?? #emmerdale,” LJBigBird wrote.
