Del año 2019 a la fecha alrededor de 27 enfrentamientos se han registrado en Coahuila, donde varios elementos han perdido la vida en el cumplimiento de su deber.
Tras publicarse el Censo Nacional de Seguridad Pública Estatal (CNSPE) 2021, el Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (INEGI) informó que en el año 2019 y 2020 hubo 23 enfrentamientos entre grupos de la delincuencia organizada y autoridades de seguridad.
