DUBAI, 3rd November, 2022 (WAM) — ENOC Group today hoisted the nation’s flag in celebration of the UAE Flag Day, reaffirming its allegiance and patriotism to the country at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Ruler of Dubai, to celebrate the ‘UAE Flag Day’. The flag hoisting ceremony took place at the Group’s headquarters in Dubai.
The Group participated in a number of activities throughout the day, showcasing its solidarity to the nation and its rich culture and heritage. Senior leadership from ENOC raised the flag on behalf of the Group, which was followed by the national anthem played to mark the occasion.
The flag’s four colours represent the values of the UAE and its unity. They are white for doing good and supporting safety and peace across the world; green for growth, prosperity, and the environment; black for strengthen of the people of the country; and red for the sacrifices of the martyrs and older generations to establish unity and protect the country’s achievements.
The UAE Flag Day is celebrated every year on 3rd November with UAE nationals and residents raising the nation’s flag on homes and buildings across the country.
