One ESPN analyst isn’t impressed with the offseason that the Los Angeles Lakers have had.
Tim Bontemps went on Monday morning’s edition of Get Up and slammed the Lakers for essentially bringing back the same team they had this past season.
“I would say they brought back the same roster they had. The Lakers didn’t add anybody that materially moved the needle closer (to winning it all). Everyone is acting like they had the greatest offseason of all time,” Bontemps said.

So far, the Lakers have re-signed Austin Reaves along with D’Angelo Russell and Rui Hachimura while they also brought in Taurean Prince, Gabe Vincent, Cam Reddish, and Jaxon Hayes.
It led to LeBron James posting about it on his Instagram story and he seemed to be super impressed.
At the end of the day, that’s all that matters since all of this hinges on whether James will even play this upcoming season. He has yet to commit to playing after he said that he was going to think about his future after the Lakers got swept by the Denver Nuggets.
