Nothing even came close to the feeling of an impending Book Fair at your elementary school when you were a kid. I remember the day the teacher passed out the little magazine with all of the books that would be available. I’d circle all the cool shit, just hoping that my mom would give me enough money for all of it. Pshh, yeah okay.
We could barely afford to keep food on the table, but sure “here’s $60 for the book fair.”
But guess what? I’m an adult now. Still poor, but it’s my money! If I want to dream about spending it on childhood books, then that’s what I’m gonna do. Here are the must-haves of ‘90s book series.
