The sports world welcomed Brittney Griner back to the floor this weekend.
The longtime WNBA star played in her first regular season game for the Phoenix Mercury since returning to the United States following her imprisonment in Russia.
Griner, of course, was held in Russia for nearly a year, after getting arrested at the airport. The longtime WNBA star was returned home thanks to a prisoner trade with Russia.
This weekend, Griner was welcomed back to the floor. Everyone had the same message for Griner: “Welcome back, BG.”
