The 2023 WNBA All-Star Game took place on Saturday evening.
Phoenix Mercury star forward Brittney Griner was back in the game. Griner, of course, was imprisoned in Russia for most of 2022, but returned home safely at the end of the year.
Saturday night, Griner’s opponents did everything they could to stop her.
The Phoenix Mercury star was quadruple-teamed by defenders.
“They really quadrupled teamed BG #WNBAAllStar,” ESPN tweeted.

You rarely see that kind of defense in a basketball all-star game, right?
It’s clear that the opposing team was doing everything it could to stop Griner from scoring on Saturday.
