Despite having a flawless résumé at the collegiate level, Gonzaga star Drew Timme went undrafted on Thursday night.
That’s right, the two-time All-American and former Karl Malone Award winner wasn’t selected in the 2023 NBA Draft.
After the NBA Draft came to an end, people rushed to Twitter to joke about Timme’s future. Some fans jokingly said that he would return to Gonzaga.
PointsBet Sportsbook took it a step further, tweeting “After going undrafted last night, Drew Timme has decided to return to Gonzaga for his 14th year.”

Timme averaged 17.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game during his four-year run with Gonzaga.
Even though Timme went undrafted, it didn’t take long for him to land on an NBA team. The Bucks signed the North Texas native to an Exhibit 10 deal shortly after the draft was over.
Timme will get the chance to prove the rest of the league wrong during the Summer League.
