‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ sweeps the Oscars – Entertainment Focus

‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ was the big winner at last night’s Oscars, picking up seven awards and sweeping most of the major categories.

The quirky sci-fi film, which stars Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis and Ke Huy Quan, picked up awards including ‘Best Pictures’, ‘Best Actress’, ‘Best Actor in a Supporting Role’ and ‘Best Actress in a Supporting Role’. Lee Curtis’ win for ‘Best Actress in a Supporting Role’ was considered one of the night’s biggest surprises as Angela Bassett had been the favourite to win for her performance in ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’.

Brendan Fraser continued his awards reign by taking home ‘Best Actor’ for his critically acclaimed performance in ‘The Whale’.

The Oscars were hosted in Los Angeles by Jimmy Kimmel last night and unlike the previous year, didn’t feature any controversy.
