TOWIE’s Lydia Bright deals with toddler tantrum

Former ITV TOWIE star Lydia Bright has shared with her followers that she’s having a bad day with her toddler.

The star took to her Instagram stories to post a video of her daughter Loretta crying as Lydia wrote: “You have no idea!”

Lydia took her daughter to swimming lessons which she struggled to get her to do as well as trying to push another child over.

She then took Loretta to the soft play which she wasn’t interested in that either.

Lydia wrote: “You have no idea! Refused to swim in her lesson, tried to push one of the other kids over and now doesn’t want to go in the soft play.

“Instead she just wants to whinge at me whilst I attempt to enjoy this cup of tea.”

She then asked her followers: “Is anyone else having one of these days with their toddlers?”

Loretta Rose was born in February of 2020 and Lydia has been a single mum that whole time.

Lydia split up with her ex-boyfriend Lee Cronin when she was just 11 weeks pregnant.

Despite the pair splitting amicably and co-parenting their daughter, Lydia recently opened up about feeling ‘mum guilt’.

She told her followers that at the start of the month she had to ring her daughter’s nursery for them to look after her an extra day.

She said: “I woke up this morning with an enormous wave of mum guilt.

“Work is so busy, which I am so grateful for, but it is impossible to get on top of everything with two days of childcare.

“I went to bed feeling fine, then this morning I woke up feeling like I hadn’t made Loretta my number one priority. I felt so sad until she ran excitingly to her teacher and I caught up with my overwhelming email inbox.”

Lydia said she was debating whether to post the story or not but that she thought it was ‘important for other working mums to see’.

She reiterated that juggling being a mum and working at the same time can be difficult.

She added: “As my sister explained to me this morning, spending time with our children is important but working to be able to give them a nice home and a life of adventure and experiences also is.”

The star finished the post by saying mums need to stop being so hard on themselves.

Lydia received multiple positive DMs from other mums who have been feeling the same.

She shared another post: “Reading through my DMs. Unfortunately, so many of us struggle with mum/work guilt.

“Never feel like you are alone with your feelings, as I have been inundated with messages like these. I love you all for taking the time to write to me.

“I’m going to bed feeling proud to be a working, single mum.”

Lydia often posts updates on her and Loretta’s life on her Instagram page.
