The much-awaited sequel to the captivating and critically acclaimed web series, Asur, featuring Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti, Ridhi Dogra, Anupriya Goenka, Amey Wagh, Meiyang Chang, Abhishek Chauhan, and Gaurav Arora has generated immense excitement among fans and the wider audience since its announcement. In a recent interview, Arshad Warsi revealed that he did not have dates for Asur, however, eventually after hearing the story, he asked his manager to make changes and give his dates to the series.

In an exclusive video interview with Bollywood Hungama, Arshad expressed his happiness over the success of Asur. He said, “When, you do any kind of movie, you work so hard on it and when people like it, it makes you feel wonderful. And especially a bloody a project like Asur, which is so difficult, so complicating, so nerve wracking and all that put together and when something like that, people like, then it’s like, oh God, all my hard work is rewarded for it. Otherwise, you feel bad, so happy.”

Further, when Arshad was asked whether he had any second thoughts regarding Asur, Arshad replied, “No, no, no, no, no. I don’t think about that. For me, I loved. I heard the script. I didn’t have the dates. I was busy with other projects and Tanveer (Tanveer Bookwala) was the original producer, or let’s say he was the person who wanted me in this. He wanted me, he said, ‘Arshad, I want you to listen to the story’ and I heard the story, but in my mind, I knew that I don’t have the dates to do it because I was lined up for other things. But when I heard the story, and I’m not kidding, I couldn’t get it out of my head. I just couldn’t get it out of my head. And I called on my manager and I told her, ‘Listen, I have to do this. Just figure it out somewhere. Kuch juggle karo, kuch chordo kuch kardo, but mujhe ye karna hai’, and that’s it. I liked it so much, so I did it. That’s how pretty much it is.”
