EXCLUSIVE: Dalljiet Kaur recalls financial lows: Had to decide between his education and monthly ration | Bollywood Bubble

Actor Dalljiet Kaur is one of the popular TV actors today. She has done shows like Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai, Adaalat, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, Sasural Genda Phool 2 and many more. She was also a part of Bigg Boss 13 but was eliminated after the first week. Dalljiet even played a notable role in Kaala Teeka. Amidst her interesting career, she did face financial crunches after her divorce from Shalin Bhanot.

During an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, the Bigg Boss 13 contestant recalled the time when she had no money to feed her son Jaydon. The actor told us, “It was quite crazy I remember there was a time when genuinely I had to decide there was a school I would I don’t want to mention the name I had to decide between his education and the monthly ration like ration and beyond which was necessary and needed at that month only and I had exactly that much amount. I don’t know if it was instinctive or whatever. A lot of people thought the decision was wrong. I immediately paid for the education and I was left with nothing and my bank just went down that and I was like sh*t. Education was never a compromise and even in my head, maybe it was that mother in me or the strong Papa’s daughter in me that I’ll figure this out. Education was never a compromise. I never thought that people who go to a small they are less educated but since I have maintained a standard. But I learned that if I compromise at one point then life will become very easy because it’s very easy to compromise. It is very easy to make a 10 into 6 but to maintain 10 is the main challenge and that is what at that time I decided I’m not going to compromise.”

She then added that she had a conversation with her father mentioning that she has zeroed out her bank account by paying the school fees. “You learn to take when you learn to take it will only be taking like because of extreme financial blows on my head. But then I’ve decided that I will do everyone on my own and will not compromise on education,” Dalljiet added.

The Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon actor even mentioned that bagged Kaala Teeka and during the shoot, she lost 34 kgs and looked pretty young to look like a mother. She revealed she was asked to leave as it didn’t work out.
