EXCLUSIVE: Dulquer Salmaan recalls ‘years of insecurity’ before making it big as an actor: I had really big shoes to fill

Dulquer Salmaan is one of the most talented actors in the industry. Dulquer made his acting debut with the film titled ‘Second Show’ and then there was no looking back for him. After stepping into the world of acting, Dulquer starred in numerous films including Bangalore Days, Charlie, Kali, Kurup, and Sita Ramam among others. The actor recently starred in a music video for the song Heeriye with Jasleen Royal. Post Heeriye’s release, Dulquer sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble. During the candid conversation, Dulquer recalled the time when he was clueless about what to do in his life.

Dulquer recalls his past

When asked if he could go back in the past then what would he change about his life, and Dulquer responded saying, “I would go back and tell my younger self that you’ll be fine. You’ll do well in life bcause that was the big question mark in my head.”

The actor continued, “I don’t know what I was gonna do or if I would make it. I wasn’t sure that I would act. The films wasn’t a choice. I was trying to do everything else and success and not spoil the family reputation. That didn’t happen. I eventually found myself in films and that is also a big question mark because I had really big shoes to fill. So, all those years of doubting and insecurity than I think today if I could back, I’ll tell him don’t worry you’ll be fine.”
