EXCLUSIVE: Gehraiyaan director Shakun Batra reveals his favourite film of Rishi Kapoor : Bollywood News – Bollywood Hungama

In a recent interview of Shakun Batra with Bollywood Hungama, the Indian filmmaker talks about one of the best performances of Rishi Kapoor. When the host asked Shakun to choose between Kapoor and Sons and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, the director said ‘Kapoor And Sons’.

 

This led to a short discussion between the host and Batra where the host said that Kapoor And Sons is one of Rishi Sab’s best performances till now. To which the Gehraiyaan director said “Yes, now  I miss him dearly”. Late Rishi Kapoor and Shakun Batra worked together his Shakun’s last Kapoor and Sons which was released in 2016. Apart from Rishi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Siddarth Malhotra, Fawad Khan, and Ratna Pathak were also a part of its cast.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shakun Batra is currently promoting his most anticipated film Gehraiyaan which features Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa.
