EXCLUSIVE: “Kabhi kabhi lagta sach mein aisi cheezein ho rahi hai?” – Bobby Deol speaks on popularity of Aashram : Bollywood News – Bollywood Hungama

Bobby Deol opted for a rather unconventional choice of role with Aashram and has been receiving a lot of appreciation for his portrayal of a ruthless womanizing godman in the web-series. In fact, the show has recently entered its third season with Esha Gupta playing a seductress wife in the show. When Bobby attended the star-studded IIFA Awards 2022 over the weekend, we at Bollywood Hungama got an opportunity to speak to him about the popularity of his show at the green carpet of IIFA Rocks.

Speaking exclusively to Bollywood Hungama, Bobby Deol expressed gratitude towards his fans and followers for showering him with so much appreciation for his role of Baba Nirala in the show Aashram. He said, “Kabhi kabhi lagta hai ki sach-moch mein aisi cheezein ho rahi hai ya nahi. (Transl. There are times when I can’t believe if these things are real or no). I am just grateful to my fans and the love I am getting from them.”

Furthermore, Bobby also expressed his happiness of being a part of the IIFA Awards night. “People are here from every part of the country and of course, we all love Hindi cinema, love the industry. So it’s always great to be out here,” he added. “I am looking forward to the awards night kyunki IIFA do saal baad ho raha hai (IIFA is happening after two years). Do saal mein pehli baar main koi itna bada event attend kar raha hoon. (After two years, I am attending a grand event like this). Sab log dil se aayein hain yahan par (Everyone was super excited to come here). Thanks to Wizcraft and the team that this is happening,” he concluded.

Speaking about his show Aashram, it also stars Anupriya Goenka, Darshan Kumar, Tridha Choudhary among others. The show’s third season premiered on June 3.
