This Friday, Michael B. Jordan will make his feature directorial debut with the release of Creed III. Ahead of that already acclaimed feat, Jordan is rolling out another first in the form of a new Calvin Klein campaign.
As part of his first-ever campaign with the brand, Jordan is seen in a new campaign video shot by Mert and Marcus. The actor/director’s modeling of the new Calvin Klein 1996, Athletic, and Modern Cotton Performance styles is part of the brand’s new Spring 2023 campaign. This also serves as the latest entry in the ongoing “Calvins or Nothing” series, which has previously enlisted stars like Maya Hawke and Carlos Alcaraz, among others.

On Monday night, Jordan was asked about the new Calvin Klein images during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel. See more below.
As for Creed III, the anticipation is understandably quite high leading into the film’s release this Friday. As Jordan himself explained last October when sharing a new trailer for the film, the latest entry in the Creed series is a particularly “personal” one for the star and director.
“My directorial debut?! Still sounds crazy to say but there’s no film that has been more personal to me and no film I’ve felt more ready to steer,” Jordan said at the time.
In a making-of featurette exclusively premiered by Complex earlier this month, Jordan elaborated further on what it means to step into this new role. As Jordan explained, he entered the directorial space with a “clear vision” for the story and its implications on the larger Creed family.
Creed III hits theaters this Friday.
