Actors Nimrit Kaur Alhuwalia and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary are currently in the Bigg Boss 16 house. And, they both have garnered a massive fan following around them, on social media. Both the actresses are widely popular and loved for their performances on the show.

In terms of social media followers, it was only recently when Gurdeep Alhuwalia, father of Nimrit Kaur Alhuwalia made claims that Priyanka Chahar Choudhary has ‘fake followers’. As we sat down for a candid conversation with Gurdeep Alhuwalia, father of Nimrit Kaur Alhuwalia reacted to his comment about ‘fake followers’. In an exclusive conversation with us, Mr Alhuwalia explained his stance and clarified his comment.

Nimrit’s father told Bollywood Bubble, “Firstly, my conversation, I never said anything about bots, I never talked about paid followers.”

Mr Alhuwalia added, “The question was specific from the team that ‘On Nimrit’s page, there is so much of hate comments’. The question was from Colors team on a telephonic conversation, a day prior. How do you feel. I said, ‘We feel bad about it. That only Nimrit’s page is targeted by only one particular contestant. There are 16 of them, including those who have left also. But only why one particular contestant is spewing hate.”

He continued, “A genuine follower is spewing hate. A genuine follower who follows or loves his/her idol. That lady or gentleman, boy or girl will have time to write such derogatory remarks or comments. So the conversation shifted to trollers.”

Nimrit Kaur Alhuwalia’s father further shared, “The conversation was specific towards trollers versus what I have said. Priyanka is equally dear to us. She is an army kid. And I am also from the army. But those trollers, I am raising that issue. In these times, is trolling good? You love your fans. You say ‘You are a loser’. Chalega. But you say such words which the channel feels is bad. And that’s how the conversation started.”
