Brar tells us that the OnePlus Nord 2T will launch in India in the April-May period. He further suggests that the upcoming smartphone will be positioned in the Rs 30,000-40,000 price bracket. Since the OnePlus Nord 2T will be replacing the Nord 2, this price shouldn’t be such a surprise, though we can speculate the entry-level variant to be priced just under Rs 30,000.
Additionally, Brar says the rumoured OnePlus Nord 2 CE, expected to launch on February 11th, will be priced between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000 when it launches. In related news, the OnePlus 10 Pro will reportedly launch in India sometime in March. There is also a Nord-branded smartphone priced under Rs 20,000 in the works for July-August.
OnePlus Nord 2T specifications (rumoured)
As far as OnePlus Nord 2T specifications are concerned, OnLeaks has already revealed the hardware for the upcoming Nord smartphone. The smartphone will reportedly feature a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a 2400×1080 pixel resolution. The MediaTek Dimensity 1300 is said to power the smartphone, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. Further, the smartphone will likely run Android 12 based OxygenOS 12 out of the box.
Along with that, the smartphone will boast a 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC charging. Yes, the same 80W SuperVOOC charging from the OnePlus 10 Pro.
Coming to optics, the Nord 2 would be coming with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. Meanwhile, it would have a 32MP sensor on the front. For now, we only know the megapixel count of these cameras, and there’s no idea if OnePlus would be using the same sensors as the Nord 2.
