Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai was one of the cult shows back in the early 2000s. When the makers announced its second season, fans were berserk as they couldn’t wait to witness the fun banter between Indravadan and Maya or the nok-jhok between Maya and Monisha. However, the comedy show’s second season didn’t garner the response that one was hoping it to be. Nevertheless, people are still waiting if the makers are going to bring the third season as well.
Though it seems like a difficult thing, Satish Shah revealed that Rupali Ganguly will in fact leave her show Anupamaa for Sarabhai. Despite Anupamaa being a popular show, Rupali will focus on Sarabhai if it is ever being made. During a candid conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Satish revealed that Rupali had a unique condition in agreeing with Anupamaa.
Satish Shah on Rupali’s decision:
The Main Hoon Na actor told us, “Everybody wants it, the fact that what has happened now is everybody’s become more busy than what they were when we did Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai. I mean I was there always but like Rupali Ganguly is such a big star today, Sumeet Raghavan is such a big star today. It’s very difficult to get us together. I mean they all would give their left hand to get together. Rupali ne toh ye tak kaha ki meri shart Anupamaa mein yehi thi ki agar Sarabhai shuru hua toh (Rupali joined Anupamaa on one condition by saying that if Sarabhai starts once again) I’ll give that preference and Rajan Sahi is such a wonderful guy he said ‘yeah, I understand your loyalty with Sarabhai, why not.’ Itna hai hamara brotherhood or sisterhood. Fir bhi thoda mushkil hi hai na. (That’s how strong our brotherhood or sisterhood is. However, it [Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai season 3] seems quite difficult now)“
Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai starrer Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghavan and Rajesh Kumar. They essayed the role of Indravadan Sarabhai, Maya Sarabhai, Monisha Sarabhai, Sahil Sarabhai and Roshesh Sarabhai respectively.
