The film’s makers believe that F3 is already a “blockbuster.” When the film, starring Venkatesh and Varun Tej, opened in theatres last Friday, it received mixed reviews. In Telugu states, on the other hand, the film looks to have found an audience. The movie is performing exceptionally well in the southern region of the country.
F3 is estimated to have made over ₹57 crores from ticket sales in its first six days of availability. And it’s a fantastic reception for a film with a little budget, which is the latest installment in director Anil Ravipudi’s Fun and Frustration trilogy. F3 won’t face any competition at the box office until Friday, giving it a one-week head start. Vikram, starring Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan, and Major, starring actor Adivi Sesh, will compete in the film next week. Both are big-budget pictures that will be released in many languages in a significant number of theatres around the country.
