Incotex, part of the Slowear stable of brands, has recently tapped cult streetwear label FACETASM for a reworking of the Italian premium pant maker’s Red collection, which first launched in 2007.
Marking the first time that Incotex has ventured into ready-to-wear categories other than pants, the capsule comprises t-shirts, blouses, trousers, and oversized jackets, all of which have been given an instantly recognizable Facetasm twist. Set to drop between Fall 2022 and Spring 2023, the collection also sees the premium label move away from its signature-laden aesthetics, as Japanese-inspired checkered and chevron prints and pastel hues appear alongside turquoise and workwear-inflected silhouettes.
Discussing the link-up, Hiromichi Ochiai, the creative behind FACETASM, said: “The collaboration between FACETASM and Incotex was designed with the idea that we could create harmony between two brands that have completely different ways of expression but to bring them together. This way we would create clothes beyond our imagination. The finished garments are a unique mix of FACETASM’s design and Incotex’s high technology and tailoring skills. We would like to thank Incotex for their sincere efforts and we look forward to seeing this collaboration worn by people around the world.”
Check out the shots below – the first drop from Incotex x FACETASM is slated for September and will be available in selected stores and shops worldwide.
