The Denver Nuggets are holding their parade to celebrate the team’s first NBA championship on Thursday. All of the team’s stars are in attendance, from Jamal Murray to Finals MVP Nikola Jokic.
Many of the players are celebrating with their friends and families, which is normal for these sorts of championship parades.
Jokic’s wife had an unfortunate experience when she appeared to be struck in the face by a beer can during the parade route. To make matters worse, Jokic’s wife was holding the couple’s young daughter at the time.

Fans are reacting to the injury suffered by Jokic’s wife, and many are upset at what happened.

Thankfully, the can appeared to only graze Jokic’s wife and missed their child altogether. The Nuggets center appeared annoyed by what took place at the time, but went on to enjoy the parade later in the day.
