Fans Aren't Buying Apparent Excuse From Ja Morant's Camp

Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is facing another NBA suspension for holding a gun in a video on social media.

On Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club in New York Monday morning, guest host Claudia Jordan, citing a source, reported that Ja Morant’s camp is insisting the weapon in the latest video is actually a toy.

In the video below, you can hear Jordan and her co-hosts DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God express serious doubts about the veracity of that claim.

It’s not just them. Seemingly no one is buying this updated story from Morant’s people.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver has said he will publicly announce Morant’s punishment following the conclusion of the NBA Finals this month.
