The Royal Family travels as part of their responsibilities, but where do they prefer to unwind and unwind in their spare time?
Iglu Cruise’s travel experts have shared one of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s favourite holiday spots.
The stunning Isles of Scilly are located just 28 miles off the coast of Cornwall.
The islands, which are frequently referred to as the “Cornish Caribbean,” have some of the greatest beaches and clearest waters in the UK.
Along with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, the Prince and Princess of Wales visited the island in October 2020.

They later went back in 2021. They have also been seen taking hikes in the countryside, conversing with the locals, and biking around the island without cars.
It is assumed that the family stays in King Charles III’s Dolphin House while they are in town.
According to their website, the public can also rent out this magnificent six-bedroom home for £2,895 per week.
During their stay, fans will have access to the Tresco Abbey Garden, Sea Garden, and Tresco Island Spa facilities, tennis courts, and golf courses.
The official website says: “Dolphin House is a large old granite rectory, with spectacular views towards Round Island Lighthouse, set in a large private walled garden.
“Downstairs, a grand dining room, high-ceilinged living room and a cook’s kitchen combine to provide ample leisure space.
“The staircase ascends past a series of bedrooms including a little attic room, many enjoying views across Tresco’s rolling landscape and out to the sea.
“The property is set amongst a walled garden – a veritable kempt jungle of texture and colour, begging for games of hide & seek or sunlit afternoons simply lazing.”
The Prince of Wales also has particularly significant memories of the island because he and his brother Harry were taken there by their parents, the late Princess Diana and King Charles, in 1989.
The couple and their children were often spotted cycling around the island.
“At just two and a half miles long at the broadest point, the island was declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty by the government in 1975.
“It is clear to see why the destination is so popular with the Royal Family, a peaceful paradise that offers an escape from mainland Britain.
“However, anyone can enjoy the beautiful beaches of Tresco.
“The island sees hundreds of holidaymakers flocking to the destination all year round, with temperatures hitting the 20s during the summer months.
“For as little as £549 pp, our seven-night cruise can take you to the sandy shores of Tresco, whilst also visiting northern France and southern Ireland too. Get in touch to plan your visit.”
