Fans Debating Britney Spears, Victor Wembanyama Slap Video

Yesterday both Victor Wembanyama and Britney Spears gave their sides of the story regarding the incident where Spears was smacked in the face by one of Wembanyama’s security. But today we got the video – and it seems to indicate that neither one was telling the whole truth.

Video shows Spears tapping Wembanyama on the back – not grabbing him as Wembanyama has claimed. One of Wembanyama’s security guards then swats her away, knocking the glasses of her face.

However, TMZ noted that Spears does not fall as a result of being hit despite what she has claimed.

That said, the video offers a lot more support to her side of the story from the “tapping” versus “grabbing” point of view – an extremely important distinction.

This has led to no end of debate over who is at fault here. Some believe that this is all a whole lot of nothing while others feel that Spears has been vindicated and that Wembanyama and his team should be called out for lying:

Victor Wembanyama is going to have to offer a much bigger apology than his last statement if he wants to get out of this public shaming.

Even though neither he nor his team will face criminal charges, legal issues could still be on the horizon.
