House of the Dragon star Milly Alcock has gone viral with some internet users calling her their “spirit animal” following her onstage behaviour at yesterday’s Golden Globes.

The Australian actor appeared onstage with her HBO costar Emma D’Arcy and director Miguel Sapochnik as they accepted the award for best television series.

As Sapochnik gave the acceptance speech, Alcock was in the background giggling and swaying side to side and at one point appeared to lean on D’Arcy for support, leading some to speculate that she was drunk.

Twitter users found the moment hilarious with many tweeting their support for the 22-year-old.

The Aussie wasn’t the only celebrity to have enjoyed the free beverages at the award show.

The White Lotus creator, Mike White, also became a beloved internet figure after he admitted to being drunk during his acceptance speech.

“I was going to give this speech in Italian but I’m too drunk cos there was no food! When we got there, they were like the food is over, you can’t have any, it’s just drink,” he said as he accepted the award for best limited or anthology series or television movie.

“I want to thank all the actors and Jennifer (Coolidge) I love you. We went out with a show we wanted to do, me and Jennifer, and everybody passed.

“I know you all passed! You all passed on this show! So, yes, it’s very gratifying to have this moment.”
