Earlier this week it was reported the Phoenix Suns will likely move on from point guard Chris Paul.
In the immediate aftermath of the news, Colin Cowherd had a trade suggestion for the Suns. He thinks the Suns should trade Paul to the Boston Celtics for Marcus Smart.
“Send Marcus Smart to Phoenix and Chris Paul to Boston – and here’s why: Marcus Smart is exactly what Phoenix needs,” he said. “Because of Kevin Durant’s history of breaking down, they need a guy who’s younger and can play 65-70 games.”
Fans weren’t on board with the suggestion.

“I would never watch another Celtics game. Boston would need to receive more than just him this isn’t even at all,” added another.
“Suns could give me their whole roster put together minus KD & Book for Smart and id still say no,” said a third.
Perhaps the Suns could kick in another player or draft pick to help the Celtics part with Smart.
