Shehnaaz Gill has shared a video of her singing Guru Randhawa’s latest song, Moon Rise. The video has already received a ton of love from her fans. The music video, featuring Shehnaaz and Guru, and was released on January 10. The song is sung, composed and written by Guru. Shehnaaz’s version of song Moon Rise, invited a lot of praises from her fans in the comment section. Shehnaaz shared the video on her Instagram handle with the caption, “Moonrise, thank you for accompanying me on the guitar @samuelshetty. Dekh Guru mai bhi hogayi shuru (See Guru, I have also started) @gururandhawa.” She is seen without makeup, wearing a brown sweatshirt and black pants as she sings the Guru Randhawa song.
Reacting to her version of Moon Rise, one of her fans wrote, “Her voice is sukoon (smiley face with red heart emojis).” Another fan commented, “Uff, your voice is magical (red heart emoji).” Other fan wrote, “Now this song was completed with your magical voice.” “Liking this version more, sorry,” added one. “They (Shehnaaz and Guru) need to do movie together, we want lots of projects together, pls jaldi dono live ajaao (Both of you pls come live),” wrote another. The other comment read, “This song makes me super emotional.” Many fans posted red heart and clapping emojis for Shehnaaz’s singing.
The music video of Moon Rise has been directed by Gifty, and presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series. The video created a contrasting timeline featuring sweet moments between Shehnaaz and Guru, which had received loads of love from their fans. Sharing their song, Guru wrote in a joint post with Shehnaaz on Instagram, “#MoonRise Ft. @shehnaazgill is out now worldwide Show your love and support.”
Shehnaaz recently launched her celebrity chat show, Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz Gill. Celebrities like Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal, among others marked their presence on her show to promote their movies. She will soon make her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. It will also star Pooja Hedge and Palak Tiwari. The film is set to be released in 2023 on Eid.
