Phoenix Mercury star Brittney Griner threw down her first dunk of the 2023 WNBA season on Sunday.
Since Griner missed all of 2022 while imprisoned in Russia, it had been a while since she jammed it home in a regular season game.
The announcers on the broadcast reacted accordingly.

“I really don’t understand why they don’t dunk more, like they are super athletic,” one fan said. “I guess I’m thinking track wise the women jump high and far af and I know these athletes are just as talented in their own way.”
