Disney+ Hotstar is all set bring the biggest comedy show of the year with Hotstar Specials’ Pop Kaun featuring – Kunal Kemmu, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Chunky Panday, Saurabh Shukla, the Late Satish Kaushik along with Nupur Sanon and Jamie Lever! Produced by Yam Productions, created and directed by Farhad Samji, Hotstar Specials’ Pop Kaun will stream from March 17 onwards only on Disney+ Hotstar.

Farhad Samji, a popular writer and director, is currently prepping for the release of his upcoming comedy Pop Kaun, this is what the director/actor had to say on his attempt to make stories that stand out! “We’ve been in the industry for a while now, and there’s one thing we’ve all learnt – acche se zyada alag cheez chalti hai. Aur humlog wahi alag cheez ko achi karne mein laage rahte hai. Our attention span has reduced, people’s patience level has come down. We’ve moved from five day matches to 20-20 even in cricket. Earlier we had make 3-4 hour long films and now, even a two hour film feels like we’ve made it too long. So the aim is to offer something worthwhile, something that’s engaging, we shouldn’t give the audience that one minute to check their phones. The good thing for team Pop Kaun is that we can engage the audience with comedy. It’s a contagious genre. I want people to watch it with their families, with their kids. And once the laughter starts, it just has a domino effect. Our intention is to make entertaining cinema, minute by minute.” said Farhad Samji
