The father of Cheer star Cassadee Dunlap is in critical condition after being shot Saturday in Arkansas.

Ron Dunlap, 49, had been out drinking before he tried to force his way into apartment 12D instead of his own apartment, 15C, according to the New York Post.

It happened in Little Rock around 3 a.m. and Dunlap was shot by the apartment owner, KATV reported.
Joshua Womack, the owner of apartment 12D, said that he was asleep when he heard a banging, according to the reports.
Womack, 23, said that he “woke up and grabbed his firearm” and fired five or six rounds at Dunlap.
Police found Dunlap “lying face down on the ground outside of Womack’s apartment” and managed to render enough aid to transport him to a hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
Dunlap’s daughter, Cassadee, has appeared on Cheer and Toddlers and Tiaras. She has yet to issue a statement.
