Fearne Cotton says sex life with husband Jesse Wood has been crushed by pandemic

Appearing on Alan Carr’s latest podcast episode, Fearne Cotton has been chatting about ‘sexy time’ and romantic trips to Paris with husband Jesse Wood

Fearne Cotton has been chatting about sexy hotel stays with Jesse Wood.

Speaking with comedian Alan Carr, the Happy Place founder opened up about where she likes to check into for a romantic break with her husband of seven years.

The broadcaster – who shares two children with the son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood – admitted Paris was her “go-to” for a sexy trip away before the pandemic hit.

“So tell me abroad, where do you go for sexy time when you want to feel romantic?” Alan asked the star on the latest episode of his podcast, Life’s a Beach.

Laughing, Fearne replied: “Sexy time hasn’t happened for so long in terms of going away anywhere!”

After a giggle with the comedian, the mum-of-two reflected on her past romantic holidays.

“I think for me and my husband, literally booking into the local Travelodge would make us feel sexy at the moment,” the star joked.

“We have had no time alone because of the ridiculous pandemic but before all this craziness, Paris was our go-to.”

She continued: “Not every weekend, maybe once a year. But it felt well special because it’s so chic and beautiful.”

“It just has an air of something gorgeous, doesn’t it? I love it there.”

Fearne then went on to praise the “great” hotels and areas the UK has to offer when it comes to romantic breaks.

“Being by the sea is magical,” the TV presenter gushed when chatting about British holidaying with Alan.

The star also joked about how her body has changed since becoming a mum.

“There were some fun bits back in the day… big milk t**s. They were great. I miss those big t**s! They were so big and juicy and now they’ve gone. They are just deflated now,” she told the podcast.

Fearne and Jesse announced the arrival of their first child, Rex Rayne Wood in February 2013.

Two years later, the new parents tied the knot together in July 2014 with a romantic ceremony at Richmond Registry Office in London.

The following year, when announcing her departure from BBC Radio 1, Fearne shared the happy news she was expecting her second child – with daughter Honey Krissy Wood born in September 2015.

Jesse is also a father to two other children from a previous marriage, Lola and Arthur.

Speaking in 2015, Fearne opened up about being a step-parent alongside a mother to her biological children.

“I’ve got two step-children. I was 29 when I met my husband it was quite an induction to being a proper parent. Rex adores and idolises them,” she gushed on This Morning.

She went on to reveal all the children have bonded and the families exist as a happy blended unit.

In 2018, Fearne gave an insight into how she and Jesse achieve harmony with all their children.

“What we have always done, and it has been our only real rule, is to include them in all of it,” she explained to GoodToKnow.

“So when we found out we were pregnant they [Lola and Arthur] were the first people we told, above our parents, our friends, everyone and we let them have that news for a week or so before we told anyone else, so that they could just digest it, ask questions they had, get excited about it.”
