Fed up Bunnings worker’s DESPERATE plea to dog owners

A Bunnings worker has started a heated debate after pleading with dog owners to stop bringing their pets to stores.

Sharing their frustration on Reddit, the employee said they were fed up with cleaning up after dogs who pee and poo while customers are shopping.

“Dear everyone who brings their dogs to Bunnings,” the worker, based in Sydney, said.

“Please, for the love of God, stop. I don’t get paid enough to clean up your dog’s p**s and s**t.

“If you can’t train your dog to not pee indoors or simply don’t care enough to carry poop bags, for the love of God, just don’t bring your dogs to a literal shop.

“I promise you, your pooch will be just fine at home.

“Go on a bush walk with them if they need the enrichment that bad.”

The Reddit thread was met with a mixed response, with many offering advice to dog owners.

“Cardboard box in a trolley, dog on cardboard box in said trolley. Saves everyone from having a sh*t time,” one person commented.

“I thought that was mandatory. I take my dog to Bunnings and every time, as soon as the person at the entrance sees a dog, they’ve just been handing out cardboard and instructing people to put their dog on a trolley,” someone replied.

“Every dog I’ve ever seen at Bunnings has been on a trolley.”

Bunnings confirmed that using a trolley for dogs was in fact mandatory.
