We’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Fenty Hair ever since founder Rihanna and her company, Roraj Trade LLC, first filed trademark application documents for “Fenty Hair” back in March 2021. Now, it seems the hopefully imminent launch will be bigger and better than we had hoped.
While the initial trademark documents cited products including shampoo, hair relaxing, straightening, waving stylers, bleach and colour products, and even hair glitter, Roraj Trade LLC has just applied to expand the list to include “medicated hair care preparations; medicated dandruff shampoo; hair growth stimulants; medicated hair lotions; pomades for medical purposes; pharmaceutical preparations for treating dandruff; medicated shampoos; hair growth promoting pharmaceutical preparation; [and] medicinal hair growth preparations.” Wow.
As if that wasn’t enough, the list had already been expanded in September 2021 to include “medicated hair care preparations; medicated dandruff shampoo; hair growth stimulants; medicated hair lotions; pomades for medical purposes; pharmaceutical preparations for treating dandruff; medicated shampoos; hair growth promoting pharmaceutical preparation; [and] medicinal hair growth preparations.” That’s not to say that the brand will necessarily include everything on the list, but it suggests they’re at least thinking about their options.
As well as being one of the most celebrated female musicians and a multi-million pound beauty and skincare empire, Rihanna was recently awarded the title of America’s youngest self-made female billionaire by Forbes‘ and has just welcomed her first child with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky. So, 2022 is a pretty major year for RiRi, even by her own high standards.
While the Fenty Hair developments are certainly exciting, there’s still no news when or where we will be able to get our hands on the products. In the meantime, however, it’s worth checking out the best Fenty Beauty products available to enjoy right now, including the sell-out Eau de Parfum which is *finally* back in stock.
Plus, we’ve road-tested the brand’s latest launch, Fenty Beauty Poutsicle Hydrating Lip Stain, which is an oil-in-water formula that promises the same, almost industrial-glue-like long lasting effect as Fenty’s iconic Lip Stunnas liquid lipsticks.
