FILL UP NOW: Perth drivers warned of surging fuel prices

Perth motorists are being urged to fill up now to avoid the extreme hike in fuel prices around the City on Wednesday.

The average price of unleaded petrol will increase by 23 cents per litre to 177.4cpl. However, at some fuel sites, drivers can expect an extreme surge of 41cpl up to 189.5cpl.

From 6am on Wednesday, 7-Eleven, Ampol, BP, Caltex Woolworths and Coles Express will up their prices 33-41cpl to 189.9cpl.
