Finca Victoria is nestled on a hillside on one of the highest points of the island, with cooling breezes, lush vegetation, a calming soundtrack of Coqui frogs, and very little light pollution — which makes for stellar stargazing.

What to Know

Like nearly all hotels and inns on the island, Finca Victoria isn’t located on a beach. Most of the island’s idyllic, uncrowded beaches are accessed by car, so be sure to book a car rental well in advance of your stay (ideally a Jeep or another vehicle that can handle the island’s rustic roads). They tend to book up on this small island, which is just 21 miles long and 3 miles wide.

From Finca Victoria, the nearest beach is a 10-minute drive.
