Love Island 2022 has been the talking-point of the nation since it returned on Monday, with sun, sea, and … sabotage.

Yes, the hit ITV2 dating show has already had more dramatic twists and turns than Gemma Owen has dropped hints about her famous dad.

Many fans enjoying the series are wondering whether they need to cancel all evening plans for the next few weeks to watch new episodes – and when the reality show is due to end.

Here is everything you need to know.

Is Love Island 2022 on every day?

Yes, Love Island does indeed give you a daily dose of drama – with new episodes airing every day from 9pm on ITV2.

However, if any plans get in your way of watching, you can also get your fix by catching up on the ITV Hub.

Saturday episodes are slightly different, as ITV2 airs the week’s best bits, including some added unseen footage, for all those Love Island fans who need that something extra.

On Sundays, you can also get your weekly instalment from Laura Whitmore who will be hosting Love Island: Aftersun, where she brings you celebrity fans, Love Island debates and exclusive footage.

When is Love Island expected to end?

For those of you counting down the days until the show ends (*ahem* buzzkills), we have some bad news – the Love Island producers are yet to reveal an exact finish date.

However, during the season eight launch, the show’s host Laura Whitmore confirmed that the show would run for eight weeks this year – meaning we could expect the finale to take place on Monday, August 1.

Love Island usually concludes with a live show on a Monday evening, where the winning couple are crowned and awarded £50,000.

Last year’s series also ran for eight weeks and saw Liam Reardon and his girlfriend Millie Court win the show.

Love Island is currently holding a competition for fans to win tickets to the final, taking place in Mallorca. This means we wont have to wait too long for the finale date to be revealed.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
